Meez was ALOT of fun !!!! Hopefully, this has come out okay. I stayed up to 1 am this morning trying to get this to my blog. It did not work. I could not sleep. About 3 am, I went to sleep. So, it is 9 am and I am hoping I did this right !!!!!!!!!

RSS Feeds

I really enjoyed the RSS Feeds. I even set up my bloglines newsreader. It is going to be so nice to just have to check in one spot for what I like to keep updated on. I really liked the YouTube video--RSS In Plain English. I can't wait to get back and check into more things on the RSS Feeds.

I looked into the Merlin site, but, I have to wait to be approved before I can go any further on this site. It looks really interesting.

The only thing I find overwhelming so far is the fact that there is soooooooooo much to remember, so many terms, so many passwords. At least, I will have time later on to really explore so much more.

Technology

Well, I guess I'd better get back to work---on The 23 Things. I REALLY enjoyed flickr !!!! I will continue exploring it. Once I figure out my digital camera, I plan on downloading some pictures onto my computer and then I will upload (???????) them onto my blog. Wish me luck !!!!!! Even though I am having fun with flickr, I still need to get to the basics. Sooooooooooooooo, I bought from Ollie's a cd-----Learn Microsoft Windows XP. Imagine what I can accomplish when I finally learn Windows XP!!!!!!!!!! Isn't it AWESOME that you can take pictures on a camera, put it onto your computer, and then, send it to all your family and friends !!!!!! Just with a CLICK of a button !!!!!!! How cool is that !!!!!!!

I lived in Provo, Utah for 13 years. While living out west, one thing I REALLY missed was the water towers back home in Jersey !!!!!!!

Going Nuts !!!!!!

I am NOT giving up !!!!!!! I am NOT giving up !!!!!!! Well, this has turned into a CHALLENGE today !!!!! I got to Flickr okay. It is mindboggling all that you can find there !!!! But, there are some awesome pictures of eagles and bluebirds, etc. Tried to post a picture from there. It did not work. Then, I tried to start over a few times, and, was told my sign in was wrong and I had the wrong password, etc !!!!! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !! With all the accounts you need and all the passwords, you can go crazy !!!!! But, I am going to do this. I AM. I AM I AM. I wish I was as smart as Linda and her husband. They are finished already !!!!! I will NOT give up !!!!!

Today is the day !!!!!!!!

Well, what can I say ????? Today, I went to the Tech Fair. And, it was totally AWESOME !!!!!!! I can not believe that I am saying this !!!!! Technology scares me to death !!!!! I am still in the dark ages about alot of things !!!! (I still use my records and cassettes and have just gotten used to CDs. I still prefer VHS over DVDs, but, I am getting there.) The Tech Fair was VERY informative, mind boggling, and very eye-opening !!!! It was EXCITING !!!!!! Wow !!!! I can not believe all the things that you can do and all the places you can go to for info and help !!!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to all that participated in the fair !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe that I, Sally, am doing a blog !!!!! I guess that means I am headed in the right direction !!!!! I am going to conquer my fears of this technology stuff. Who would think that technology could be so much fun !!!! For instance----the WII !!!!!!!!!!! The IPOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I'd better get out my Nintendo DS Lite and use it, get comfortable with it, and proceed to other 'gadgets'. Maybe, I will even learn to use my digital camera and even download pictures !!!! So much in one day !!!!!

In the Lifelong Learning, I would say the easiest for me would be #2 Accept responsibility for your own learning. The hardest for me would be #4 Have confidence in yourself as a competent, effective learner. I am a slow learner---sometimes---a very slow learner !!!!! But, I am going to take this one-step-at-a-time. Baby steps-----but, thats okay !!!!! I am going to do this. I WILL I CAN I DO I like this saying------"Even a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Confucius My motto now !!!!!
